NESTA’s Open for Business Conference : insights and perspectives on Open Innovation

Every enterprise sits at the centre of its own ecosystem, producing new value from its links with others. Open innovation is a new way of strengthening these links, making them more productive, efficient and long-lasting. Stefan Lindegaard (@lindegaard) recently chaired a panel discussion and Open for Business conference hosted by NESTA. The conference was designed to help companies navigate the Corporate Open Innovation process. NESTA is the National Endowment for Science, Technology and the Arts – an independent body with a mission to make the UK more innovative. NESTA invests in early-stage companies, inform policy, and deliver practical programmes that inspire others to solve the big challenges of the future.

The interactive day featured Open Innovation experts, experienced practitioners and NESTA case studies of open innovation from corporates including, Procter and Gamble, Virgin, Oracle, Orange and McLaren.
