Cafestocks.com is another
attempt at social investing.
.

Participation and gathering the wisdom of crowd will be the key for the success for recommending stocks and investing. This is indeed a cool idea and best luck guys if you can involve some really brainy market guys in this. Not people like me, who even fail and mutual funds investing. The time would have been more appropriate in the bull market, since the market is bearish, users may be little apprehensive at taking recommendation. In bull markets any tip is a tipping point.

  1. I honestly think that while CafeStocks.com is an honest attempt at social investing, it fell short in two ways – in terms of their user interface/look and feel, and not seeding its site before it opened it up for public release. I think its a gud site. I frequently engage in day trading, and visit this site often. I also came across http://tips.appuonline.com, and found it to be amazing. It really helps me to get new trading ideas.

I think cafestocks.com is pretty good. I have become a regular there. In my personal opinion, some early reviewers have been unnecessarily harsh on the site. Look at the site now, there is lot of useful content for traders
