The problem with the management seems to be just thinking about the deliveries and the deliverables. So the process doesn’t matter, quality doesn’t matter and the happiness of users and the employers do not matter.

Employees do not mind working odd hours, putting in extra efforts or to really burn the candle at both the ends. But it’s all good for their mental and physical well-being when they are driven internally. The freedom in the society is almost similar to freedom in a business environment. A free society yeilds more intellectualism, more enterprise and a more healthy society and social relations. Similary a free business environment where your employess have both work and fun to do is in fact more better for the business itself. There is a very thin line between democracy and dictatorship, and it all depends on the leadership. The leadership can make a social agenda sound very personal or personal agenda very social. It’s they way he invites the participation of his followers. In business environment too, let your employers feel that they own up the world that they are part of and have their free-will and individual contribution to make up this world.
